I spoke at the Indianapolis Home Show earlier this year (to see more on that experience, click HERE). Every year at the show, there is a centerpiece home. This year it was built by Fischer Homes, and it was absolutely spectacular!
First of all, this home is built inside a large pavilion (located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds). This year’s model was a ranch home (The Rookwood) and was nearly 6,000 square feet which included a walk-out basement.
The interior design was done by Joy Perkins of TOB Design Firm and the exterior landscape by Calvin Landscape of Indianapolis.
The entryway of the home was neutral and sophisticated with natural wood floors.
The office was one of my favorite spaces. It had a coastal theme and was a room the entire family could enjoy. I loved all the navy with the natural wood.
The half bath had the same casually sophisticated look which flowed through the home.
The girl’s room was pretty and pink with a bright mural and adorable bed.
I wanted to bring the boy’s room home with its shiplap walls and bunks that looked like they belonged in a ship.
I loved the round table in the dining room that sat under a large gorgeous chandelier.
The master suite was stunning and welcoming with its navy walls and textural details.
The main living area was perfect for entertaining with its open floor plan which included the family room, kitchen and kitchen nook.
I thought the tour was done but was amazed when I walked down to a gigantic basement (which included a bedroom, two separate sitting areas, game room and full kitchen/bar).
I apologize for the poor quality of my photos, but I hope they give you a taste of this gorgeous home while inspiring you in your own decor adventures! I know I need more navy in my life after touring this home.
