Today I’m sharing a unique DIY Anniversary Gift.
Earlier this month, my husband and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary. He’s received so many DIY gifts from me over the years, so I had to celebrate this milestone with yet another!
I made him a plaque with a photo from our wedding day and one from each year since that day.
For this project, I found this wooden plaque from Hobby Lobby.

Besides the plaque, here’s what I used:
- Mod Podge
- Sponge Brush
- Silhouette Cameo
- Photos
- Embellishments
To begin, I created a stencil for my lettering using my silhouette cameo and placed it on the plaque.
Next, I painted over the stencil with black paint.
I also painted around the inside of the plaque with black paint. Once the paint was dry, I placed my photos on the board.
I glued the backs first, and then I covered all of them with Mod Podge.
I found these cute little embellishments to put on the center top of each photo.
And that was it! I had a little DIY anniversary gift for my husband.
I’m looking forward to another 15 years!
