*Use a faux pumpkin for this craft so you can enjoy it year after year!

They are the easiest pumpkins to make, and the result is a pumpkin you can enjoy every year!

*Tissue Paper Pumpkin

The tissue paper pumpkin is one of my personal favorites, and I keep adding to my collection. Once you get the hang of it, they are easy to make and the perfect way to customize a pumpkin to match your personal decor and style.

*Use a faux pumpkin for this craft so you can enjoy it year after year!

You can see the full tutorial for making your own tissue paper pumpkin HERE. I include a detailed video to make the crafting process go as smoothly as possible!

*Wrapping Paper Pumpkin

The wrapping paper pumpkin gives you more options since patterned wrapping paper is easier to find than tissue paper, but it is a little more difficult. Since the paper is thicker, you have to cut the paper into strips and wrap the pumpkin. You can see more on how to create your own wrapper paper pumpkin HERE.

*Use a faux pumpkin for this craft so you can enjoy it year after year!

*Succulent Pumpkin

For this project, you won’t carve into the pumpkin which helps this succulent pumpkin last awhile (mine lasted two months). You will need to mist the moss and succulents, and it makes a gorgeous centerpiece.

*You will need to use a real pumpkin for this craft.

Easy DIY Pumpkin Craft

Easy DIY Pumpkin Craft

I made this easy DIY pumpkin craft several years ago and love it so much, I decided to share again. I also wanted to make some new pumpkins to match our decor since I am always changing the colors (and styles) in our home.

You can watch the video tutorial below, and I follow with written step-by-step instructions for this craft.

To begin, you will need:

Step 1:

Cut a hole for the pumpkin stem near the center of the tissue paper.

Step 2:

Cut off any excess tissue paper. You may want cut out sections of paper up towards the stem as well as extra paper around the bottom. It is helpful to not have too much overlapping paper.

Step 3:

Add Mod Podge to the entire pumpkin – be generous.

Step 4:

Add the tissue paper to the pumpkin. Notice in the sections that are cut out of the tissue paper in the image below. You can play around with the best solution for your pumpkin, but try not to bunch the paper too much. Use your hand to smooth out the tissue paper as much as possible.

Step 5:

Once the tissue paper is adhered to the pumpkin, add Mod Podge to the outside. Continue to smooth out the tissue paper.

Step 6:

Allow to dry fully – this usually takes 12-24 hours depending on the thickness of the Mod Podge.

Optional Step: I have found that the Mod Podge melts when I store these pumpkins in the attic. I added a finish spray (after the Mod Podge was completely dry) to try and prevent this from happening.

I made several different version to match the colors in our living room.
