Favorite Interior Paint Colors

Our home’s interior color palette consists of lots of off-whites and deeper blues (you can see a full home tour HERE), and I’m sharing my favorite interior paint colors. Although I tend to keep to similar wall colors, I add pops of color in other ways through accent pieces, pillows, rugs, and wall art.

Here are my current favorite interior paint colors:

  • Benjamin Moore Hale Navy
  • Behr Swiss Coffee
  • Benjamin Moore Storm Cloud Gray
  • Valspar Night View
  • Valspar Coconut Milk
  • Clark+Kensington Pine Grove

Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore

Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore is a beautiful navy. It is bold and makes a gorgeous statement. I used it on the wall treatment in our half bath. There is a reason this color is so popular.

Swiss Coffee by Behr

Swiss Coffee is a gorgeous off-white. It’s not too creamy and not too white. Our carpet has a gray undertone, and this white works well with it. It will brighten any space without making it feel stark.

Storm Cloud Gray by Benjamin Moore

Storm Cloud Gray by Benjamin Moore is one of my favorite new colors. It is definitely more of a green than gray so don’t be confused by the name. I used it in our dining room on our paneled wall, and I would love to use it other places in our home.

Night View by Valspar

Night View by Valspar is my favorite navy. It is just a little more muted that Hale Navy, and it is stunning. I love to pair this color with pops of pink.

Coconut Milk by Valspar

Coconut Milk by Valspar is a true cream. I have replaced this color in several spots throughout our home (mainly the spaces no natural light) with Swiss Coffee, but it looks gorgeous and cozy in spaces with lots of natural light.

Pine Grove by Clark+Kensington

Pine Grove by Clark+Kensington is a gorgeous, deep moody green. I painted our dining room buffet with this color and would love to add it to a smaller space like a bathroom.

The Best Navy Paint Colors

I love using navy in our home (although green is quickly rising to the top as I used it on my DIY paneled wall and dining room buffet). I have tested out a lot of navy colors over the years and wanted to share what I feel are The Best Navy Paint Colors.

The Best Navy Paint Colors

THE BEST NAVY PAINT COLORS:

Night View by Valspar

Night View is my favorite navy paint color. It is sophisticated, not too blue, and adds the perfect moodiness to any space. I used it in our living room, and it completely transformed the space.

If you want to see the tutorial for my DIY elegant wall paneling, GO HERE!

Dark Denim by Behr

Dark Denim by Behr is a beautiful true, rich navy. I used it in our half bath but only on half the wall since there is no natural lighting in the space.

Midnight Show by Behr

If you are looking for a more blue, playful navy, then Midnight Show is your color. It is brighter than the others, and I used it in my boys’ room on their accent wall.

I share the full (easy) tutorial for the board and batten treatment in there room, and you can GO HERE to read all about it!

Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore

Hale Navy by Benjamin Moore is a fan favorite. It is a beautiful rich navy. I used it several years ago when I decorated a space for the Indianapolis Home Show (see more on that HERE).

This photo doesn’t do the color justice thanks to fluorescent lighting.

I would highly recommend these four navy paint colors. They are all gorgeous. Anyone have any other favorite navy paint colors? Please share in the comments!

Favorite Paint Colors

I am excited to be partnering with ACE Hardware to share my favorite paint colors.

ACE Hardware has over 5,000 stores around the world and everything you need to tackle paint projects of all sizes.

Their Paint Studio is a great resource to check out online, and they have a color visualizer where you can upload a photo of your room or project to see how the project will look with fresh colors! It is a fun creative escape.

They also offer expert advice in-store and will go the extra mile for you.

Clark + Kensington Paint + Primer in One is paint exclusive to Ace Hardware, and they offer the most gorgeous color palette for your home. I’ve selected the 6 best paint colors that are inspired by the colors I use in my home, and I hope to inspire you to incorporate color into your home.

PINE GROVE: 31A-5

This may be my favorite color right now – it is a deep green with some blue undertones which work well with all the blues I use in my decor. I recently painted our dining room buffet in it, and it is gorgeous with a smooth finish! It would also make a beautiful accent wall.

SILK AND SATIN: N-C27

Silk and Satin is the perfect neutral hue, and I love the warmth it brings to a space. I used something very similar in our hallway landing.

BLACK TRUFFLE: N-C24

I love a bold black for the elegant statement it makes, and Black Truffle definitely makes a statement. I used a similar black on our library bookshelves.

SILENT WHITE: CW-C1

I have always been a fan of a creamy white, and Silent White is just that! It is warmer that a true white and is perfect for any space. I used a similar color in our home office.

DOT DOT DOT: 36A-5

I love the look of navy walls, but it is hard to get the perfect shade of navy. Dot Dot Dot is deep and elegant and perfect for almost any space. I used a similar shade in our living room.

PURE ZEN: 06A-2

I love to add pops of pink throughout our home, and Pure Zen is a beautiful accent color. I painted our kitchen stool a similar color.

Whether you are looking to add a little color and a fresh look to your space by painting a piece of furniture or looking to paint the walls in a room, one (or all) of these hues are great accents for your home. I hope they provide inspiration for your next project!

I want to know – what is your favorite Clark + Kensington paint color? Go find the perfect color for your next project and pick up a gallon of paint. It’s amazing what a fresh coat of paint does!

The Best Paint Colors for Your Home

Our interior paint colors have changed over the years, but today I am sharing my current favorites for the best paint colors.  I am really into creams, grays and anything navy right now, and I add pops of color with accent pieces. I am asked all the time about the navy in our family room, and it is a gorgeous color.  It is Night View by Valspar, and I absolutely love the deep navy color.

I also painted the wall separating the family room and kitchen this gorgeous shade of blue, and you can see the gallery wall HERE. Although it is not complete, I am slowly repainting all our interior doors in Orion Gray by BEHR.

Be careful when painting interior doors because it is impossible to stop at just one!  You can see more details on the DIY laundry room remodel that began my door painting craziness. If you want a brighter navy, try Midnight Show by Navy.  It creates the perfect accent wall in my boys’ room.

You can see more pictures of my boys’ room as well as the tutorial for the board and batten wall by going here. If you are on the search for a pretty gray, try Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams.  I often recommend it to clients who want a neutral, and it works in any space and/or lighting.

This bathroom was a recent remodel, and you can see all the before and after photos by going here. I prefer a cream over a white in our home because it feels warmer to me (and we have off-white trim).  I have used Coconut Milk by Valspar often in our home – including our master bedroom.  You can see more on our master remodel by going here.

I recently discovered Swiss Coffee by BEHR paint, and it is less creamy than the coconut milk.

It is gorgeous – especially if you are looking for an off-white color.
