Transformation Tuesday: Office

Happy Transformation Tuesday!  Transformation Tuesday: Office

Recently I came across old photos from when we purchased our home. In honor of our three-year home anniversary (later this fall), I thought it would be fun to share a different room every week. Today I’m sharing our home office.  When we bought the home, the space was being used as a living room.  Since we only needed one family room/living room space, we made this room into an office.

Here is the before:

And the after:

Office Makeover (1 of 1)

We are planning to add bookshelves and make this room more of a library/office.  But until then, we just do simple little projects.  Here is what has been done: This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

  • PAINTED THE WALLS.  The walls were painted in Valspar’s Colonial Woodlawn Gray.
  • ADDED WINDOW TREATMENTS.  The curtains at TJ Maxx for next to nothing.

I painted a desk that was left in the house, and I also painted a chair I found at a thrift store. The chair is from Wayfair and the silhouettes are from Minted.  The sheepskin is from IKEA, and I made the framed Instagram photo art (see the tutorial HERE).
