Which side of wax paper do you use? Does it matater?
No – it shouldn’t matter!
I am wanting to use this idea at a girls camp. Can i prep by having all of the images printed in advanced or does the ink need to be wet in order to transfer in time?
I need to check with Angela from http://www.unexpectedelegance.com since this is her tutorial, but I do think the ink needs to be a little wet. I’ll see if I can get her expertise!
I didn’t see where the picture was that was transferred. Could you tell me how it works.

The tutorial is actually a video. The video is towards the end of the post, and you just need to press the play button. Hope I helped!
Does this only work on unfinished word, or can it transfered ont a painted surface?
Angela at http://www.unexpectedelegance.com knows much more about this process than I do, but I’m fairly certain it would work on a painted surface!

great video and thank you for sharing . I could not get the Wax Paper to go through my printer . I tried spray adhesive on an 8×11 sheet of paper and temporarily attached the wax paper. It worked great.

Just wondering if after the image is transferred on wood, can it take a couple of coats of poly without smearing?

I am having a difficult time. The transfer is easy and it works…but when I use on chalk painted furniture it smears (days later). What do I finish my projects with to avoid smearing. I tried wipe on poly. It smears. Likewise when I wax. Help!

Hi, what is the name of the software you would use to go in to flip your image as I couldn’t make it out….great crafter..thanks in advance..
Hi Mona! I used Adobe Illustrator, but most printers/office supply stores should be able to flip your image for you.
Can this be used on canvas in the same manner?
