If I won the lottery, the first thing I’d do is hire a chef. I don’t love cooking, but I have two teenage boys who are always hungry, so I don’t have a choice. I start the week off with a meal plan, and I’ve started doubling meals and freezing them which is a huge help with the kids’ activities. I’m sharing some of our favorites in stories, and comment or DM me your go-to recipes so I can share them!

It’s so easy to get discouraged here on social media, but it took years before our kitchen looked how it does in this photo. Swipe to see the progression of our stove/hood. When we first moved in, the exhaust fan was visible and we had cherry cabinets. I painted the cabinets and the hood (not sure what I was thinking with that green color😅) and we hid the exhaust fan with trim. We eventually were at the place were we could remodel the kitchen but saved the range hood to save money and painted it to look like wood. This image didn’t happen overnight - it took years of figuring things out. 💙

I’m dreaming of warmer weather here in Indiana. My April fools morning consisted of snow flurries and Lena eating a fly (which was just a raisin). Here’s a before and after from a few years ago. It’s amazing what a little landscaping can do for curb appeal. Happy Friday!

I always dread springing forward and losing that hour, but it was really nice to see the evening sun a little later. If you’re looking to add some art to your home (I love this portrait in our library), check out my stories. I’m sharing some of my favorite artists and art sources.
