Succulents and Sunshine

A few weeks ago, I went to the Build Your Blog Conference in Salt Lake City.  I met so many amazing bloggers, but I fell in love with Cassidy from Succulents and Sunshine.  Not only is she the sweetest person, but she is incredibly talented. Cassidy blogs about succulents (and knows everything there is to know about succulents),  and her photography is amazing! When I met her, she was wearing these earrings.

Seriously?!  How cool is this jewelry?   Here in Indiana, we are all completely over this winter.  It’s been another incredibly cold and rough winter, so succulents are the perfect thing to bring us all out of our (depressing) winter hibernation!  Enjoy! I am so excited to be featured on Sincerely Sara D. today! I met Sara at a conference we went to recently and loved everything about her and her website! My blog, Succulents and Sunshine, is all about growing succulents. I talk about how to take care of, propagate and make awesome things with succulents! They are really awesome plants and great for anyone interested in growing plants, whether you have a green thumb or everything you touch seems to die (like me!). I’ve put together a list of some of my posts to get you started with succulents! If you don’t own any succulents you’ll need to know where to buy them and what to look for to get the best deal, so start with these two posts.

  1. Love this post! I need to buy more succulents!!! I have around 4 right now, but now I am convinced I should buy several more 🙂 Great wreath!

  2. I am finding some great projects to do with succulents, thank you. Are Spiral Aloe easy to grow, they look great. Are they rare? I am hoping to find a place here in Southern Cal. to purchase some and maybe raise more. Anything else i may need to know about them?

    Thanks so much.
    Janet.

  3. I love succulents and get some every summer to grow outside. But I have a hard time with them when I need to bring them indoors for the winter. I’m hoping to get some tips when planting them together so they have a better chance for surviving. Thank you.
